Giuseppe Gallina in the eighties, along with his son Sergio , decided to open his own small winery located across the way from Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, in San Pietro of Barbozza to receive all the passionates of this wine, thus starting the story of the " Volpère " extra-dry sparkling wine .

Today Sergio continues to pursue the path of tradition , but with the fundamental objective of producing a top quality Prosecco , which is not only good tasting, but it is especially " good inside" .

History

Men who have spent their lives cultivating vineyards

Since 1864 there is trace of grape growing and wine production in the Gallina’s family. Starting with Giovanni at the end of the nineteenth century, continuing with his son Angelo, called "Toni" and then with his nephew Giuseppe, called "Bepi", reaching up to the present days, the story tells of men who have spent their lives cultivating owned vineyards and passing on to each other 's the passion for a hardly work, but very rewarding, and for a good glass of Prosecco, which in those days was produced exclusively for family use.
